Aldham Olde Tyme Rallye 2006
This years Aldham Old Tyme Rally was hot and dry, which
makes a change as it is normally cold and wet, especially when it is time to
pack up on Sunday so this was a nice change
Once again there were a large number of exhibitors and a
large Military presence including some huge trucks. Sunday saw what may be a
record number of Vintage and Classic Cars and Motorbikes.
The auction on Saturday afternoon had an enormous number of
lots although nothing took my fancy however there were one or two good buys to
be had on the Rally Field.
We all had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend despite the
hot weather, once again our hosts the North East Essex Tractor & Engine Club
were very well organised for which we were grateful.
There was a good variety of engines with one or two
unusual ones, here are some of the sites around the Rally Field.
